The Famous Fagan
As you will all recall, I embarked upon a daring and dangerous mission: To capture a photo of our esteemed Whitetail Team leader Jake hard at work at the SHOT Show.
Well, I have been trumped. Check out this month's issue of Outdoor Life and check out the Turkey Bonus section. There you will find our leader in all his camo glory (posing with a bird that he claims to have killed - jury still out on that one).
John Hafner is also featured in the spread. He's another guy that I've gotten to know somehow (funny how you never remember how these things start) and you should check out some of his photo work -- in fact, check out the actual photo of Hafner in OL. Look for the photo credit. Hmmm . . . where have I heard of this Graves character? Oh yeah, that's our very own Russell Graves of Whitetail Team fame. In case you didn't know, he's also one incredible photographer (but you probably guessed that based on the quality of his photos from the Rack Report).
Geez, I never knew I was surrounded by such stars.
All kidding aside, check it out. It's a cool piece on some guys you may not have heard of but do exactly the things we love to do -- and are super representatives of the younger generation in the outdoors.
Brothers, my salute.
Tony Hansen, Whitetail Team
