Worth Waiting For
Sometimes it's the missed opportunities that matter. Check out Teddy's story.
Tony Hansen, Michigan Man
Hi, my name is Teddy Fisher and i'm from Red Lion, PA in York County. I shot this 10 point buck on the last day of rifle season in Airville, PA. It has a 19 and a half inch spread. I'm only 17 and this is my second buck in five years. This size of a buck isn't common everyday in the region where I hunt in Pennsylvania and I'll probably never shooot another one this big in my life there. It came walking right up to me twenty yards away on my left. My uncle walked him right to me. I just propped my .270 against a tree and shot him right behind the shoulder and most likely would've been all I needed to kill him but there was other guys down below me and he was heading right for him so I put three bullets in him till he fell over about forty yards away from me. I missed an 8-point with a 16-inch spread on the first day of rifle and another guy on the farm next to us got him because he ran straight to him from me shooting and I was pretty upset about that after that happened but everything happens for a reason and about two weeks after that i got this ten point and now i'm glad i missed that 8 point.
