It's Coming

Well, the season continues to creep closer. Funny how the time seems to crawl now. But as the season continues to draw near, we'll all wonder "How the heck did the season sneak up on us so fast?"
Well, I've vowed to be more prepared this year than ever. Of course, I have good reason for that. I'm going to be spending more time in the woods this fall than ever. For starters, I'll be hosting and producing a Michigan edition of Bill Winke's popular Midwest Whitetail show. It's a semi-live hunting show that debuted last fall on Realtree.com.
I'll also be working on a brand new website for Michigan Out-of-Doors Magazine. So I've spent just about every evening of late cruising the back roads and searching for a few bucks to hunt this fall. The photos above are a few I've got on tape.
What are the odds those bucks will stay in the areas I can hunt? Probably not great. But just knowing they're out there is all the fuel I need.
The countdown continues . . .
